At CP Guided Adventures, we want every trip to be safe, transparent, and enjoyable. Please review our policies below before booking. By reserving a trip with us, you agree to the terms outlined on this page.
1. Booking & Payment
- A reservation is confirmed once full payment or an agreed-upon deposit is received.
- Payment can be made through the method(s) provided at checkout or upon request.
- Trip pricing includes guided services and any amenities listed on the specific trip page; it does not include personal gear, travel to/from the meeting point, or optional add-ons unless otherwise stated.
- Spots are limited and reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Our refund policy is based on how far in advance you cancel:

4+ weeks, or cancelled within 24 hours of booking
Full refund
- Refund requests must be submitted in writing to cpguidedadventures@gmail.com.
- Credits issued in place of a refund do not expire unless otherwise stated and may be applied to any future trip of equal or lesser value.
- In the rare event that CP Guided Adventures cancels a trip (e.g., due to unsafe weather conditions or low enrollment), guests will receive a full refund or the option to rebook at no additional cost.
3. Waiver & Liability
Camping and outdoor recreation carry inherent risks, including but not limited to exposure to weather, wildlife, uneven terrain, and physical exertion. All guests are required to read and sign a liability waiver prior to participating in any trip. This waiver outlines the risks involved and releases CP Guided Adventures, its guides, and staff from liability for injury, loss, or damage that may occur during the trip, except where caused by gross negligence.
- Guests under 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.
- No guest will be permitted to participate without a completed waiver on file.
- Guests are responsible for disclosing any medical conditions that may affect their ability to safely participate.
4. Photo & Media Release
By participating in a CP Guided Adventures trip, guests agree that photos and videos may be taken during the trip for promotional use, including on our website, social media, and marketing materials. Guests who prefer not to be photographed may notify their guide at the start of the trip.
5. Weather & Safety
Guest safety is our top priority. Desert conditions can change quickly, and trips may be modified, rescheduled, or cancelled at the guide's discretion due to extreme heat, storms, flash flood risk, or other unsafe conditions. Guests will be notified as early as possible of any changes. Please review our Cancellation & Refund Policy above for how trip cancellations initiated by CP Guided Adventures are handled.
6. What to Bring & Prohibited Items
Guests are responsible for bringing appropriate personal gear, including sun protection, sturdy footwear, and sufficient water (a packing list will be provided prior to your trip). For the safety and comfort of the group, the following are prohibited on all trips:
- Illegal substances or drug paraphernalia
- Firearms or weapons (unless required for a licensed activity and approved in advance)
- Unauthorized drones or aerial equipment
- Removal of plants, rocks, or wildlife from protected land
7. Code of Conduct
We're committed to a respectful, welcoming environment for all guests and staff. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the trip without a refund. Guests are expected to follow their guide's instructions at all times for the safety of the group.
8. Age & Group Requirements
- Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and have a waiver signed on their behalf.
- Some trips may have minimum age or fitness recommendations; these will be listed on the individual trip page.
- Group sizes are limited to ensure a quality experience and may vary by trip.
9. Pets
Pets are not permitted on trips unless explicitly stated otherwise on the specific trip listing, in order to protect local wildlife and ensure guest safety.
